THE
ZOO’S SHOES: LEARN TO TIE YOUR SHOELACES! Bainbridge author and Emmy
Award- winning writer for “Bill Nye the Science Guy,”
Lynn Brunelle comes back with another
dynamic, hands-on presentation for kids.
The author of Pop Bottle Science and Camp Out!, Lynn has created a shoe-shaped
learning tool that’s a delight to read—a board book with strings attached!
Readers help zoo animals—zebra, giraffe, tiger, crocodile, and leopard—tie their
high-top sneakers. Slip-ons and shoes with Velcro have their place, but there’s
nothing like a child’s feeling of accomplishment on first tying those pesky
laces!
"Five Things You Don't Know about Yo-Yo Ma - the story of the world's worst explorer and other adventures in writing biography" will be the topic when its author Jim Whiting is on hand at the Bainbridge Island Library on Nov 22nd at 2 PM.
